I recently enjoyed a stay at Villa Verde with my family, just a stone's throw from Gatwick Airport in Horley. Our comfy twin room and the welcoming staff made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast; there was ample choice, and we particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit and selection of cereals. We opted for a family activity at Tulley’s Farm, which is a short drive away. It was filled with fun for all ages, and my kids loved exploring the farm's attractions. On another day, we ventured to the Gatwick Aviation Museum nearby, which sparked my little one's fascination with planes—an unexpected treat! The hotel’s proximity to the train station made our day trips into London easy, and if you want to unwind with a round of golf, Effingham Park Golf Course is a great option. Villa Verde was ideal for our family getaway, and I’d recommend it if you're looking for a cozy base near Gatwick with plenty of activities nearby.
